Our Story

It all started at CT. Walker had been there for seven years and doing just fine until little miss know-it-all joined the team. We drove each other absolutely crazy, disagreed on almost everything, and even ended up in mediation once (yep, really).

Out of nowhere, everything changed. Everyone around us seemed to notice before we did - he was bringing two lunches to work, we were suddenly wearing matching Casio’s, and our friends were quietly (and not-so-quietly) betting on when we’d finally realise.

All it took was one drunk piggyback at a work party, and that was it, we were inseparable! Somewhere within the chaos, we found everything we’d both been looking for in each other. Walker became “Red” to Fletcher, and they’ve been thick as thieves ever since.

We brought light and laughter into each other’s lives. We’ve built our own little world that is lighthearted but passionate, we spend every waking moment together and still debate most things at work (some things never change).

Maddy’s easily annoyed, but never by Walker. Walker never holds back on showing how much he loves her, spoiling both Maddy and Fletcher, and always making sure they’re looked after.

Together, we’ve found happiness like never before. That joy became official when Walker (completely calm, no nerves in sight) surprised Maddy with a proposal at the Lavender Farm in Daylesford. Unsurprisingly, she complained on the drive there about wanting to wear trackies and for the first time ever, Walker insisting she didn’t get her way.

Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter, surrounded by our beautiful friends and family, in the very place our love first began (and where we used to hide from the rest of CT for our secret lunch dates).
